Advancing Student Engagement in Communities:
A Tool Kit for Effective Orientation & Evaluation
HOW TO USE THIS WIKI:
I. What is a wiki?
A wiki is software that allows users to create, edit, and link web pages easily. Wikis are often used to create collaborative websites and to power community websites. These wiki websites are often also referred to as wikis; for example, Wikipedia is one of the best known wikis. Wikis are being installed by businesses and educators to provide affordable and effective interactive communication.
II. Organization of the Tool Kit Wiki
This wiki is organized by user type. Separate orientation and training resource pages are established for community co-educators, faculty and students to access various support tools. Community co-educators, faculty, and students will all use the evaluation page for all are found on a separate page. There is also a Discussion page to allow users to add additions, comments and/or questions. You can also reach the comments page from each of the individual tool kit pages. (Please note that you will need to log in with the password/access key "comments").
III. Use Now!
The best part of the Tool Kit Wiki is that it is user-friendly for all participants as well as an excellent collaboration tool even for those without web programming skills. Return to the Tool Kit to begin!
